commute northbound 280 that is moving along very nicely in san jose. >>> 4:37 here is steve. >> thank you, sal. good morning, everybody. some fog out there. very quiet pattern. only thing i want to say one forecast model really rockets up temps. there is a lot going on out there. one even some of the extended outlooks like ten days down bring our first rain in. we have a lot going on here. we'll see how it develops. 50s on the temps. low, mid, to a few upper. mainly 51-58 covers it. a little stronger out at travis. so yeah yesterday temperatures really kind of a push. not much of a change. a little warmer in the east bay. see the little lows spinning? there is a -- there is a lot of them. supposedly high pressure will do this and give us an offshore breeze. i need to see the whites of its eyes. morning fog and then sunny there are signs by the weekend the high will build in. not everyone is on board with this. let's see how it develops. coastal clearing should take place if that northeast wind develops. today that is not the case. thick morning fog. there is a light west breeze for some.

. that traffic looks good on highway 17. let's go to steve. >>> maybe around daily city, passive can, i don't think it has much of a chance with it being the fog. we start with 50s for some and 40s for others. yesterday's highs, the city 8 . concord 900 and without the north eat wind and -- northeast wind and we have -- wind and we have antioch, livermore downtown oakland, they are still on the warm side. no breeze at all, west at 7, there is a tiny component with that northeast wind. high pressure controls one more day and the little low is spinning a week to 10 days and this week as well. temperatures anywhere from 60s to near 100 degrees cooling trends coast and bay, in fact we will go to the 90s by this upcoming weekend. sunny warm to hot, hot, bayside inland, 69th to 99 degrees, 99 morgan hill, livermore antioch, oakland, 85 in the city, they start to creep back, it looks like a big drop, definitely thursday into friday and a cool and breezy pattern for the next weekend, pam. >>> well the city of richmond is reaching out to chevron for help. what they want in a story you will only see

in the foreground as steve has been mentioning fog is out there. also the commute looks good from oakland to walnut creek. let's go back to the desk. >>> 2 dozen protesters were arrested at an occupied camp in downtown san francisco. live in front of the federal reserve bank, i guess the 4:30 show started and they installed a fence, right? >> yes. it -- >> reporter: police said it turned into a homeless encampment and we have seen a steady stream of occupied protesters returning to the site. you can see them across the street from a federal reserve and we saw a large police presence to make sure that the occupied movement did not rehe is stablish -- reestablish their encampment. for the last two weeks they have been passing out leaf let's advising them they were illegally lodging on the streets and telling them the camp would be raided. then last night they issued a final order for the crowd to disburse. a few people left but about two dozen stayed and those two dozen were arrested and police took them into headquarters and charged them. >> they kept closing in on us and they kept taking us one by

they are not late. 7:07. let's go to steve. >>> sal, thank you, sir. well, a lot of fog out there. i mean for september. usually this time of year temperatures start to warm up. the coast and the city. it's not happened. it's been a cool, cool pattern. there are signs that maybe this weekend that could turn around a little bit. we've been stuck for the longest time. morning fog, sunny. temperatures very similar to yesterday. about the same tomorrow. it looks like temperature also start to warm up inland. maybe we can sweep that fog away with a north-northeast wind. the official high this year should be 70 degrees. 62 -- i mean, every day, 62, 63, 64. i mean, it's been a tall order to get that fog out of there. fog is being helped along. a little low off the coast will continue to spin right there. there's really not a lot of heat in the valley. temperatures are about average. 50, san rafael. also for santa rosa, fog, also, some of that low fog deck. tom, our observer in blossom hill, 56. the little low here, the high is supposed to build in there and that would give us a north- northeast

. it's usually slow. >> it's usually slow in this area. let's go to steve. >>> a very good morning. i guess we had to turn the page from september to october to put sunshine on the coast and there's not even a puff of a breeze. first time san francisco hit 90. that was our high ned. since september 25th -- yesterday. since september 25th, 2010. normal is 75. they are the sitting at 65 right now. san santa cruz -- santa cruz was 100 and watsonville was 101. if the sea breeze does not kick in. they will be close to that today. inland temperatures you will have 20 pate -- you will have to wait until tomorrow. definitely not a breeze yet. some temperatures on the coast have been going up in the last couple of hours. fort funston being one. lake merced from 64 to 67. san francisco, 65. hayward, 65. santa rosa is 51. those are warmer than livermore, antioch and san jose. a complete reversal. san jose, travis, snow. there's no sea breeze yet. the leading edge is being drawn towards us. the combination of the two will eventually turn that breeze around to the west. by tomorrow -- by tomorrow.
